The lovely Anita Riot of Thick Threads tagged me in her Christmas List this year and being one that never passes up the opportunity to make lists, covet things I can't really afford, and share my desires, I couldn't have jumped at the opportunity any quicker (I even leaped over the cat). This Christmas list is suppose to be my top 5 most wanted items so I'm going to attempt to stick to those parameters. I have to say, I keep wishlists year around on multiple sites, I don't know why, it's not as if I have some secret Santa on call at all times but a lady has to know what she wants. I mostly keep these wishlists (and meticulously maintain them) because I forget what I want since I have the attention span of a 3 year old, but that is neither here nor there... or waiting in a box at the front step! Anyway onto the Top 5:
1. ASOS Curve Dress with Button Front
The Perfect Little Black Dress with a Film Noir type vibe. |
3.The Perfect Lace & Tulle Skirt
I have been absolutely dying to find the perfect lace and tulle skirt that I can pretty much live in. Also top contenders are Eshakti Lace and Tulle Skirt and Eshakti Layered Tulle Skirt, I couldn't narrow it down to just one because any of these would do. |
5. Samsung DualView TL225 Digital Camera
This list was actually harder to do than I had imagined it would be since I have so many things and so many variety of things I'm really wanting at all times. Hello my name is Rachel, I'm a shopaholic. I also wouldn't mind having these Lulu Spiked Ballet Flats that I can imagine would be perfect for work, running errands, general everyday wear, and kicking ass if need be. I know, I'm a cheater with my sneaky 6th item.
Anywhoodles, I hope everyone gets what they wish for this year and that if you go to purchase items from your list that they carry the item in your size/color! Dammit. Grr, I have such a hard time finding size 11 shoes sometimes, curse you huge feet.
Now I'm going to tag a few lovely ladies to see what they want for Christmas too.
Laura of The Blog of Worldly Delights
Amber of The Girly Bird
Courtney of Sartorial Sidelines
Arielle of Humble Pie Vintage
Tracy of Chubble Bubble
Is it time for White Russians, sneaking handfuls of Christmas cookies, and wrapping oneself in Christmas lights yet? I'm more than ready.

Thank you very much for the tag!!! I saw Anita's list (and Olivia's) and I couldn't stop oohing and aahing over all the ASOS merch! GAH! I must really be super behind on their stock because whenever I look online, I never find anything I like there! That said, i really LOVE that black ASOS dress. I want want want it!

@Courtney - I always get nervous tagging people because I'm like "what if they don't want to be taggged?!." I've been going to the site and looking at that ASOS dress every single day, I'm quite obsessed. I look forward to seeing your Christmas list.

@Laura- You are welcome, like I said to Courtney, I get so nervous tagging people. I've been told I suck at social networking and I believe it may be true. ASOS has some amazing things right now, they almost always having amazing things but some of their dresses right now make me squeal with delight (and envy, me wants!). I hope we both get the ASOS dress, it is gorgeous, my you have fabulous taste :-P

I do the same thing. I have so many sites bookmarked under my "gifts" folder so in case anyone wants to buy me anything I can immediately go to it and send them a link. This never happens but just in case, I'm prepared :)
PS thanks for adding my blog to your blog roll. You just made my day!
@Amber- I'm glad I'm not alone in my excessive gift lists. I barely even share the lists, I just keep adding things to them. My amazon list is ridiculous, it has something like 300 items. At least we are prepared when people decide to start sending us things from our lists. Aww, I'm so glad I made your day, I love your blog.

I'm super glad you tagged me! I love making lists too and was going to do a wish-list eventually anyways. I love that dress, it looks classy, sexy, and good for girls with curves(hell yeah!).

@Arielle- But of course I tagged you, you have one of my favoritest blogs. I love making up words, truly I do haha, "favoritest". Before I was tagged I also made a huge wishlist on polyvore, think I might scale it back now. I love that ASOS dress, I can't stop staring at it, I don't usually wear things with that neckline but I do love it.

you dont have a secret santa on call? that is super strange! haha u better get him in check. i love this list the dress and the skirt are amazing! love it :)
xo
A_Riot
@TT- I don't :(, imagine how amazing that would be if they had that secret santa service haha. It would probably have some kind of crazy stipulation. I wish this dress wasn't $99, that is a bit out of my brokey budget at the moment. Hopefully someone in blogosphere will get it and I can ooh and ahh at it.
<3Honeysuckelle
Oh my, that black dress in the first picture. It's perfect!! But too expensive! :(
@Dial V for Vintage - I know, I love it but the price is too high for me too. Maybe it will go down in price? ASOS has some good sales.
<3Honeysuckelle
ooooohhh!!! I want EVERYTHING on this list!!! I hadn't seen that ASOS dress- damn you!! I'm trying to be good!!! ;)
love the shoes!!

I always love seeing what other bloggers' Christmas lists consist of. Honeysuckles are my ultimate favorite, so I'm really hoping to smell that perfume!
Have you ever smelled 'Daisy' by Marc Jacobs? I'd heard a lot of hype about it, and when I finally got my hands on it.. well, it is *incredible*.
Had to stop by after reading your comment today and say that Fire In The Sky f*cked me up. The syrup scene was bonkers (although I still love syrup). There have been a few times when the movie has been on tv and I have to change the channel immediately or risk nightmares that night....so yeah
@Wait until the Sunset- When I saw that ASOS dress I was like "OMGOODLES! Me must have". I sorry I passed that feeling onto you but it is a gorgeous dress so we are only human.
<3Honeysuckelle
@Lucia M- Me toooo. My best friend was telling me how she knows a person who hates the feel of velvet, I told her this person was probably an alien.
<3Honeysuckelle
@Amber Rose- Me too, I love seeing what other people covet. I love honeysuckle and I feel like I haven't smelled it and seen it in years, years I tell ya. I hope we both can find that perfume somewhere, it seems really hard to find. Bah at that. I haven't smelled 'Daisy' I will definitely make sure to hop over to Ulta/Macys/what have you to smell it. Incredible scents need be smelled.
<3Honeysuckelle
@Amber- I think I'm in permanent nightmare mode because I've seen and pretty much seem to watch mostly macabre movies/tv shows. Fire in the Sky is really scary, you know the scene when he is found and he sees the weird print on the window - that always freaked me out too. Syrup is still tasty but a little part of me will always look at it and go "Noooo it's alien goo!." I'd be screwed if I lived in Candaeh (yay for perpetuating stereotypes *shakes head at myself*).

@Elle Sees- It is prettiful, isn't it? I love lace and tulle, so together= PERFECTION. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you for all those lovely comments, you totally made my day :))
Love your list, i've been dying for a sheer tulle skirt too but can't find one anywhere except american apparel but it's so expensive >.< until now, love the one you picked :D
@Sara - You're most welcome, I love your blog and the looks you rock.
I'm glad I could be of help in the tulle skirt department, I wish I didn't have so many things I need to pay for at the moment or this tulle skirt would be gracing me with its presence.
