I feel as if I've been gone for awhile although it really hasn't been all that long. I haven't had the best luck in the internet/computer and health arenas over the last week or so. Has it been two weeks? I don't even know, I can't keep track at this point - what am I saying, at any point haha. Our main computer had a virus and we haven't been able to get the internet working on it since then, it is a real bummer, luckily (and quite obviously) we have a back up computer (plus ya know, my laptop that I never use and my phone... oh, such a hard life...). My boyfriend is pretty good with computers and keeps trying to fix it but it just doesn't seem to want to work, I personally am clueless when it comes to that sort of thing. On top of that I haven't been feeling very well at all, I think I have conjunctivitis, all I know is I've had eye and head pain consistently for the last few days but it may be an allergy thing. I don't know, I rarely go to Doctors since I don't have insurance. I feel like I'm always sick and always mentioning so to you guys, I'm sorry loves.

Moving on, this is my 50th post and I really wanted to make it special but instead it is just me doing a whole lotta bitching, I'm sorry, its just been one of those weeks. BUT I've been cooking a lot, baked a little, and was going to share pictures of my creations but the computer is holding the images hostage at the moment. I made some cheddar chive muffins, some really tasty meatballs, and a lots of pasta.

I've watched and re-watched some really good movies and tv shows lately including 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', 'Insidious', 'Bag of Bones', 'Horrible Bosses', 'Cry-Baby' (a re-watch), and one of my guilty pleasures 'Jawbreaker'. I really, really loved 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' and 'Insidious'. I didn't have the highest expectations for 'Insidious' but it really was awesome and actually scared me, I was going to post a picture from the movie but almost all the pictures I found were scary. The ghost bride lady? *Shiver with fear* Plus, I mean 'Insidious' has Patrick Wilson in it, I was disappointed that he didn't show his famous keester in this movie though, not that there was really an appropriate time for him to show his keester but he has a nice butt and I enjoy looking at it. I'm just saying, you can't say you don't agree? If you don't agree then just move on with your weird self. Joking, don't go! <3 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' was quite literally one of the best films I've watched in awhile and I kinda also had the hots for Mikael Blomkvist, he was just such a tender character, I just wanted to hug him. 'Bag of Bones' was predictable but I like Pierce Brosnan as well. Horrible Bosses was hysterical, I love Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston was really amusing in this. Look at me and my constant boy talk, I'd be a Drape, and one from Baltimore even. 'Cry-Baby' (John Waters! Such a kooky, fun, and hysterical man) and 'Jawbreaker', what can I honestly say? They have both been favorites of mine since I was little, or reasonably little since 'Jawbreaker' came out in 1999.

My head is really killing me so I think I'm going to cut this here. I will however share pictures of my Mothers Christmas tree from 2008, I got some really great pictures that year and I love looking at Christmas trees. I hope everyone is well. I still haven't bought anything for my little sisters! I know, I need to get on that.

Christmas morning, presents under the trees and stuffed on the sides. I get up every year before everyone else and take a picture when the presents are all out and under the tree.

@Courtney- Thank you, I couldn't agree more, my mom always has the prettiest Christmas tree. She has buckets full of ornaments and Christmas decorations. One day when I get my own place and have my own tree I hope it is half as pretty as her tree.

Insidious was scary, I kept turning away and cowering in my boyfriends arm, even though I had watched it once already by myself.

Cry baby is such a good movie. So cheesy but still so awesome. I absolutely loved The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I read the books and thought they did a great job interpreting them into film. I cant imagine the American version being as good as the Swedish but we shall see. Your tree turned out great, very festive!

I love Cry Baby! I'm going to feature it on a Movie Monday post soon. Sorry you've been sick. I don't have insurance either so I never go to the doctor. I hope you feel better soon. I hate when I'm having computer problems. I know nothing about computers and technology in general, but my boyfriend/fiance does and I'm always bugging him about fixing something or how to do something. Thank God for boyfriends, am I right?

@Amber - I love Cry-Baby, and it is so cheesy but in the best of ways. I haven't read the books for 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' yet, it is on my list of things to read. I've heard that the book was translated well to the screen. I doubt as well that the American version will be as good as the Swedish version but I'll probably see the American version anyway. I'm really curious to see what Mr. Fincher will do with the American version.

Thank you about the tree, it's my moms tree from a few years ago, it is very festive. I love the colors, I use to just sit and stare at it for hours, love how the trees look. I can't wait to have my own tree, hopefully next year!

@Arielle- I have a mix of Cry-Baby songs stuck in my head, and I keep singing "Please Mr. Sailor", and then having to correct myself.

Aww thank you, I'm feeling a little better. I really hate not having insurance when it comes to persistent pain, I just want to find out what is the cause and get that crap treated.

Haha definitely about the computers, my boyfriend is really good at fixing them and my usual fix is screaming at it and giving up.

I sort of liked insiduous, it started off quite creepy/scray but then seemed to turn into a bit of a joke/parody?

xx

@Eloise- Aww, really? I really liked the part when they were in "the further" at the end of the movie. I've always thought movies with dreams, nightmares, and "different dimensions" (although not necessarily real) were fascinating. I find dreams and nightmares fascinating in general. I did have a bit of a chuckle when the lady put the gas mask on at the seance scene. The whole seance scene in particular wasn't my favorite but I did love the creepy little characters in the further, and the part with the lipstick face demon. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, I'm checking out your blog right now.

@Thick Threads- I love the way the girls dress in 'Jawbreaker' and the way the girls rooms are decorated, everything is so colorful and shiny. I love actual jawbreaker candy, my boyfriend hates when I get them, I just sit there and annoy the living hell out of him - it is tasty candy. Omgooose, you have to see 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', it is one amazeballs movie... or at least I thought so.

Thanks sweetie, I'm feeling a lot better!

Thank you, I love Xmas trees, I just sighed like I was thinking of Henry Cavill at the thought of staring at Xmas trees, I think I might have a crush on xmas trees - that's not weird or anything. I hope to get pictures of the Xmas tree this year.

@Bonnie- Thank you, my mom always does such a great job decorating for Christmas. She has some amazing ornaments, I'm definitely going to do a little ornament picture taking when I'm over there for Christmas. I'm excited for Christmas too, I hope yours is lovely. Thanks for commenting.

!!! i have the sudden urge to go watch Jawbreaker now! i LOVE that movie. stellar choice ;)

@Kaelah - Thank you so much for commenting, I'm sure you know by now since I almost always comment but I love your blog. I've heard so many people make the comment that 'Jawbreaker' was a crappy movie but I love it. I have the soundtrack, I use to make collages of pictures from the movie, I use to walk a mile to a video store to rent it - yeah, I was a bit obsessed. To this day anytime I see jawbreakers (the big ones because I'm ambitious in my candy eating) in a candy store, I have to get one - those suckers last forever. I'm so glad to have fellow 'Jawbreaker' lovers stop by!
