Hey there, Happy Holidays and junk! I've been having these weird headaches, I think they have something to do with my sinuses but I'm not really sure... so been a bit tired and out of it but here I ammmm. Last weekend my fiance and I threw a housewarming party, I of course, drank too much wine in anticipation and felt a little fuzzy throughout it but I sobered up enough for us to play Apples to Apples and overall it was a good time. I've been dying to get my hands on Cards Against Humanity btw, it sounds right up my foul mouthed/dirty minded alley. It was nice seeing everyone and everyone gave the place high praises. I've never planned a party like that before, my previous experience was just having people over for drinks and pizza, this was somewhat the same but felt more "formal" I guess. My nerves were on high alert the day of the party, I always have this fear that no one will show up or that everyone will have a super shitty time. So in anticipation I cleaned the house and organized over the course of 2 days, I wanted the place to look as perfect as I could make it look and it might have been a bit of overkill. I get why so many people turn to entertaining magazines, party planning is freakin' tricky business, I felt so much pressure to make everything perfect and make sure everyone was having a good time. All that aside, I have to say how amazing it feels to be in a place that feels like home though; a place I'm comfortable in, a place I'm not ashamed of, a place I want people to see, and a place where I'm with people who don't make me feel bad about myself. I can't wait till every room is in order but 5 out of 9 rooms ain't bad progress. Only one room has been completely taken over by boxes but we need money and furniture to complete it, all in due time my starfishes, all in due time (this is what I say to myself when I feel stressed out thinking about it). I am especially excited for the future of the patio room in the warmer weather, I have sparklified wine guzzling plans for it, basically meaning I plan on throwing up a ton of Christmas lights and drinking copious amounts of wine within its walls. I might have mentioned these plans before, maybe, probably... most likely. Well, I wanted to share a few pictures of the current progress of the house, the living room/dining room area is the most put together at the moment so onward to the show...

I'm at my Moms celebrating Christmas with my family at the moment, I got a lot of cute stuff for the house that I will share pictures of soon. I hope everyone has a blissful day.

Hey everyone, I hope you had a dandy Zombie Jesus day! I joked with my boyfriend that it was more accurately described as excuse to eat homemade macaroni and cheese day, not that mac n' cheese needs an excuse... On Friday, I went to the Baltimore Aquarium with my family, I had not been in a super long time so I was very excited. I'm from Baltimore and although I'm not the biggest fan of Baltimore, Baltimore pretty much feels like my "home city". We started off the day having breakfast at Starbucks and the rest of the day dodging children at shark tanks and being stalked by jelly fish. On Saturday I hung out with my friend, Summer, and we did a lot of shopping, catching up, and giggling. It had been a long time since I stepped inside an Old Navy and I found the most perfect cardigan ever, it has a muffin humping' (I'm trying to come up with alternative curse words) hood! I also got a pink and white dress, I'm really exploring my love of pink lately, just in time for Spring! Florals... for spring, groundbreaking (yes, this is a movie quote). Sunday was a low key day of watching chick flicks and eating Easter dinner. To round out an excellent weekend, my boyfriend took me to Maggianos for lasagna and an apple crostada on Monday. How was your easter? What do you consider your "home city"?

Since this post has been full of scary creatures (hey, I didn't post any pictures of myself this week... jokesy), I figured I'd round up the entry with some cute and a picture of my baby, Halo. Any excuse to post pictures of cats/my cat is good for me.

Well, my post about the rest of our holiday spent in Florida has been hideously delayed, I'm just now getting over my post vacation blues. Funny enough I found about our next trip whilst we were in Florida so mental planning has begun for that. Florida was to be expected, sunny of course, a little kooky, and water/beaches everywhere. At one point we were in the car on a normal highway and my boyfriend saw an alligator (I didn't see it, the closest I got was a van selling "gator" by the road) in a little overgrown area off the road, "It's like Wild Kingdom over there" he said; I missed it dammit, this is why one needs a driver. We had a lot of good food, ran into a surprise (at least it was a surprise to us) parade, did some shopping, drank, danced, saw dolphins, visited friends, and I somehow left the sunny state with not even the faintest of tans - it is a talent. So no more talking, I'm just going to post pictures of the beach, I know that's what everyone wants to see so onto the pictures of 5 different sizes.

There was also some tasty food...

*drool* What? Oh, I got lost in food porn for a minute. There was also some pretty rad-tastic places.

As you might be able to tell from the pictures, we had a fabulous time in Florida. We got to visit with our friend Row and her kids and meet her new boyfriend and his lovely mom - not to mention their clan of animals. It was incredibly cute when I saw their cat PJ, who I always doted on when Row was here, and he perked up remembering my face/voice - it was so precious.

On our way home from Florida we stopped by Orlando and Charleston, South Carolina which was even prettier than I remember it being so that is coming up in my next vacation entry.

I miss you Ocean, why I didn't just run into your luscious waves is beyond me.
