I've been sick with bronchitis for what feels like centuries but time goes by slowly when you're sick. Cough syrup has been my best friend these past few weeks, I bought my cough syrup a bff necklace and everything but the little shit refuses to wear it, it says "My neck is too small you weirdo" Liar.
It's safe to say I haven't been out much since I've been sick but I did visit my Dad and his new home last weekend. I was so excited to get out of the house that I wore my red lace eshakti dress for the first time and it got rave reviews. It's not hard to see why below... I love you eshakti.
I'm feeling better mostly just trying to kick a non-stop cough and some congestion. That and I'm constantly sleepy. My husband and I leave for Vegas in two days! AND I had my hair done yesterday so exciting not talking to my cough syrup (probably... maybe) posts to come!

Hey everyone, I'm (mostly) back and have so much catching up to do. I had such a great time and have so many pictures and memories to share with you. Unfortunately, I caught an infection and a cold simultaneously towards the end of our trip so I'm waiting to spring back into normalcy, which as often as I experience illness you might count as normalcy /immunesystemfail. We arrived home early this morning and the cats were extremely elated to see us as were we to see them, I was hopping in my seat, I couldn't wait to see their faces - I've squeezed in many a cuddle with them today despite being pretty ill. I will be back soon with all the details and many, MANY pictures but here is a little sneak preview of Savannah, Georgia and Caladesi State Park in Dunedin, FL.

Hey everyone, I had planned and still do plan on sharing how my holidays went but I've caught a cold and am going to put myself in personal quarantine till it passes so I'm going to attempt to cut this short while I wait for my boyfriend to get here with soup! Sample convo: "You! Bring me soup!" Oh, romance.
I hope everyone had a splendid Christmas and New Years, as usual I plan on sharing too much about my holidays, I take the motto "sharing is caring" a little too seriously. That might not be the best thing to put out there when you're currently infected with a flu virus...
In the mean time I started watching 'Mad Men' about two weeks ago and have been completely hooked ever since then! If anyone here follows me on Twitter or Tumblr, you might already have a hint at my current obsession. My crush on Jon Hamm is a bit ridiculous and I have literally had a 'Mad Men' style dream every night since I started on the show. I finished all four seasons on netflix instant viewing and am absolutely dying to see what happens in the fifth season, March will not come soon enough. Please tell me someone out there is also watching/watched 'Mad Men' because I have been talking about it non-stop with my boyfriend who isn't as caught up on the series as I am and I'm pretty sure I'm driving him nuts. I really want to start using "Hells Bells Trudy!" as a curse word but I'm pretty sure no one will get the addition of Trudy to that statement but I love when Pete Campbell "curses".
Well before I start breaking down what characters are my favorite, my favorite moments, how many things I'd like to do to Don Draper (c'mon, you know you want to as well), and how many outfits I want to steal from Betty and Joan... I have to say this... my soup has arrived! So I must go but please, fellow Mad Men watchers, discuss in the comments below and watch some chicken throwing on youtube Here.

I feel as if I've been gone for awhile although it really hasn't been all that long. I haven't had the best luck in the internet/computer and health arenas over the last week or so. Has it been two weeks? I don't even know, I can't keep track at this point - what am I saying, at any point haha. Our main computer had a virus and we haven't been able to get the internet working on it since then, it is a real bummer, luckily (and quite obviously) we have a back up computer (plus ya know, my laptop that I never use and my phone... oh, such a hard life...). My boyfriend is pretty good with computers and keeps trying to fix it but it just doesn't seem to want to work, I personally am clueless when it comes to that sort of thing. On top of that I haven't been feeling very well at all, I think I have conjunctivitis, all I know is I've had eye and head pain consistently for the last few days but it may be an allergy thing. I don't know, I rarely go to Doctors since I don't have insurance. I feel like I'm always sick and always mentioning so to you guys, I'm sorry loves.
Moving on, this is my 50th post and I really wanted to make it special but instead it is just me doing a whole lotta bitching, I'm sorry, its just been one of those weeks. BUT I've been cooking a lot, baked a little, and was going to share pictures of my creations but the computer is holding the images hostage at the moment. I made some cheddar chive muffins, some really tasty meatballs, and a lots of pasta.
I've watched and re-watched some really good movies and tv shows lately including 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', 'Insidious', 'Bag of Bones', 'Horrible Bosses', 'Cry-Baby' (a re-watch), and one of my guilty pleasures 'Jawbreaker'. I really, really loved 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' and 'Insidious'. I didn't have the highest expectations for 'Insidious' but it really was awesome and actually scared me, I was going to post a picture from the movie but almost all the pictures I found were scary. The ghost bride lady? *Shiver with fear* Plus, I mean 'Insidious' has Patrick Wilson in it, I was disappointed that he didn't show his famous keester in this movie though, not that there was really an appropriate time for him to show his keester but he has a nice butt and I enjoy looking at it. I'm just saying, you can't say you don't agree? If you don't agree then just move on with your weird self. Joking, don't go! <3 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' was quite literally one of the best films I've watched in awhile and I kinda also had the hots for Mikael Blomkvist, he was just such a tender character, I just wanted to hug him. 'Bag of Bones' was predictable but I like Pierce Brosnan as well. Horrible Bosses was hysterical, I love Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston was really amusing in this. Look at me and my constant boy talk, I'd be a Drape, and one from Baltimore even. 'Cry-Baby' (John Waters! Such a kooky, fun, and hysterical man) and 'Jawbreaker', what can I honestly say? They have both been favorites of mine since I was little, or reasonably little since 'Jawbreaker' came out in 1999.
My head is really killing me so I think I'm going to cut this here. I will however share pictures of my Mothers Christmas tree from 2008, I got some really great pictures that year and I love looking at Christmas trees. I hope everyone is well. I still haven't bought anything for my little sisters! I know, I need to get on that.

Has it really been over two weeks since I lasted posted, wow, where have I been? The last few days I have not been feeling all that well, a few dizzy spells and lots of continued chaos in my tummy area. It is not a good time. But my tummy hasn't been the only thing in chaos - mother nature has been throwing a little temper tantrum in my (somewhat) part of the world. Somebody got Malibu barbie instead of Ballerina barbie for their birthday... that is not who Mother Nature is, she is GRACEFUL! DELICATE! Anyway enough of needless movie quotes (needless? never :)
The Earthquake was a bit unexpected and although the news about when it will happen and the nature of ol' Irene are a little up in the air (over the ocean - har har, get it? over the ...ocean... shut up Rachel) it doesn't sound like it should be anything too serious here.
So themorning, afternoon of the earthquake I was at home asleep in bed when I felt one of my cats run across or jump on me - just as I sat up to see what was wrong I felt the shaking. I was not sure if I was dreaming and my first thought was, "We don't have earthquakes here?" as my entire bed shook. My second thought was "Have I finally lost it? Am I going to be possessed like in The Exorcist (see video)?".
I kind of thought for a split second perhaps there was a large vehicle passing by but the nature of the shaking was much more jarring that anything I had ever experienced. I sat calmly in bed till the shaking dispersed. I'm not sure how long it lasted but not long enough for me to really have time to think too in depth about it. I immediately called my fiance at work at 1:52PM EST who said the second floor of the building he was in was still shaking but that everyone was fine. Getting cell phone service was a little difficult for a bit but it quickly cleared up and I have not heard of any damage, it didn't even shake products off our cheap Walmart shelving unit in the bathroom haha. The cats were not happy campers and Hero laid under the desk with his head on my feet for hours after. It certainly was something I had never experienced before... I thought it was kind of fun being that it was just a little harmless tossing and turning. I live about 80 miles North of the Epicenter of the earthquake by the way.
I wasn't really planning on doing a full post at the moment because my stomach is really not happy with me but I do plan on doing a full update ASAP. I dyed my hair, saw a few movies, went out to dinner, visited some friends, did a little shoppin', and explored some new areas so that will all be coming up in my next entry. Hope everyone is swell, toodles for now so I can suffer through some tum tablets, err yuckies.

Times, they have been a tough, in the land of honeysuckelle. I swear I'm not going to start referring to myself in the third person, at least not regularly.
Ever since my hospital visit last week I have not been feeling the best, my head has been fuzzy and achy, my energy levels have been depleted, and my middle east has been in a constant state of unrest (I mean my tumsies. Been having nausea and what feels like a 24 hour laundromat operating in there). Last Friday and Saturday I literally slept something absurd like 14 hours, I basically only awoke to eat, it was rockin' good times. I have a new symptom over the last few days, pain underneath my ribs on my right side. I've been getting through the last two days with pain killers, nausea medicine, sarcasm, and benadryl. Like I said, Party USA over hur', I don't know if I necessarily have to mention this but the combination of medication have been making me even loopier than usual. BUT I will prevail, I hope or else I will hide under the couch, somehow, since our couch is really low to the ground, "It's a low rider".
I (sort of) warned you about the loopiness. I don't know if this is necessarily loopiness or just the verbal mish mash that goes on in the my head all the time finally bursting through and being shared with you poor unsuspecting people. While I was making dinner, an entire 15 minutes ago, my roommate gave me this look like I was totally insane for briefly cursing under my breath at the oven. He even asked me, "uh were you talking to me?", and I was like "Nah, just the oven" and he gave me another wow she is crazy look. Who doesn't curse at their oven every now and then? I don't take my anger out on the oven for no reason, its not like "oh I had a bad day, let's go kick the oven." Oh the picture to the left is the kitchen in a house for sale that I have my eye on, me likesies, although the radiator placement is a bit awkward. The house has mountain views and a wrap around porch as well *sigh of adoration*. Speaking of adoring feelings, I completely forgot to ask my boyfriend to download last Sunday's eppy of 'True Blood'!
So sounds as if times are a tough in other lands, what happened in Norway is beyond nuts. I was very sad to hear of Amy Winehouse's passing too, she had an amazing voice, it was really sad to witness the disintegration of her life and talent with her drug addiction. About a month ago I was telling my fiance about her, he had never heard of her (he listens to mostly metal so her type of music wasn't exactly in line with his) and I also wasn't hugely familiar with her music either but very tragic.
Anywho to the more sunny side of the street, my fiance is celebrating a birthday soon and will have Thursday through Monday off. One of my very good friends, Summer, also just celebrated a birthday two(now three) days ago.
I have been exploring Etsy excessively over the last few days, if I had the money, I'd buy everything I have saved to my favorites (a good 75 things). Everything from stationary, caramels, handmade dresses, jewelry, and prints o'many. I have also been addicted to reviewing things on Yelp. Yelp, I've been addicted to Yelp *rolls eyes*.
I better go since I'm starting to feel worse and worse as time goes on. Bah to the bah bah! I'm going to leave you with a picture of a dress I'm drooling over from Kiyonna and lastly my favorite kitchen of all time. Such a random transition but I was talking about appliances above so I decided to take a slight u-turn.
Oh, I found out yesterday that Ladytron is coming to DC in October! I hope I will get to go.
