Current outfit: Brown boots (Target) bought in like 2012. Blue batman socks (Target). Houndstooth thrifted pants. Old navy workout tank top in gray. Black cardigan thrifted. This outfit is entirely clearance or thrift finds. I think this outfit cost a total of $20. Wait, are we counting underwear? Because my pink elomi bra is from zulily but it was under $30 and my torrid underwear are embarrassingly old.

Current frustration: It usually takes me 45 minutes to get to work but because of construction, today it took me 2 hours. Also, I ordered food and it still hasn't come. I want my calzone dammit.

Last purchases: I bought a bunch of stuff from Torrid the other night - almost all on clearance. I'm contemplating a double barrel hair curler, yes, no? Thoughts...

Last food: Ham and cheese calzone! Yum. Even though I fucked up the order, put the wrong number and didn't put my suite number.. I iz idiot BUT I tipped him well so my bad.

Wishlist: Printer. New laptop. My skin to stop freaking out. VACA. 


Accomplishment: My new house is coming together so I'm proud of that. My cats are enjoying the stairs.


I recently bought a selfie stick, this is the only picture of myself I've taken with it thus far. Nailed. It.

Current frustration: Back pain. It has been endless and pain is time consuming.


Current want: I really want my own house so I can fill it with dogs and cats. Have you seen the tiny homes? They appeal to me but I need space for animals so it would never really work. Boo. The pictures are when my husband decided to bring me to a puppy store and I somehow left without actual tears, I was close though. I want all da puppies!


Current TV shows: Key and Peele, Inside Amy Schumer, American Horror Story (oh netflix, you're the best), and House.


Current crush: Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele(imagine that). I love when Keegan does that little kick thing, he's adorable. Jessica Lange because she is one sexy lady. I didn't quite get the appeal of Evan Peters until watching American Horror Story but now I see it. He looks so young to me though which makes me feel skeevy, even though he is only 2 years younger than me...


Current nail color: Blue on my feet. I'm too lazy to hunt down the bottle so you'll just have to believe me.

Current drink: Chips Ahoy Coolatta from Dunkin Donuts. It's pretty tasty. I'm not currently drinking it but I wish I was.

Current TV shows: Game of Thrones - of course. I have a tried and true system of having my husband watch it first and then break the news to me if anything heartbreaking happened so I can *prepare*. I have stomped out of the room, thrown pillows, declared I will stop watching 15 times, and sobbed like a banshee one too many times so the system is a necessity. Halt and Catch Fire. Orange is the New Black. Does the good television ever end? (well yes, because Mad Men just ended).


Current crush: Ruby Rose. Is it just me or does she look like a Monster High Doll with tattoos? That face though... heart eyes heart eyes. Lee Pace is pretty dreamy too and so tall. Liv Tyler, forever and always.

Current nail situation: My fingers are naked (ruhomgz!) and will remain so. My feet are a disaster, a pedicure is needed!

Current print: I'm really into eye prints, lip prints, and aliens. The only real new thing there is the eye print but I can't get enough of it.

Current frustration: Been having epic tummy and back issues. IT IS THE SUCK. Stop it.


Current triumph: Well, I don't want to jinx anything so we'll see how it goes. Also my body confidence has been soaring, I've gone many places without a cardigan, yes ladies.. I'm talking naked arms. Exposed. Out for everyone to see. I'm still a little shy at times but every single day gets easier. It is too hot and humid, no more suffering!

Current plans: Lunch with friends tomorrow and MOVIES. I want to see about 4 things that are out right now but I've been trying to avoid the crowds. Me no likie crowds. New experiences (as I said, don't want to jinx anything). People coming over for games and fun on Saturday. NAP. I can't wait for that freakin' nap.

I don't look very pleased in these photos but I most certainly am considering I just got home from Red Robin after devouring one of my favorite burgers and waaaaaay too many baskets of fries.

Current favorite food: Chocolate covered strawberries. How does anyone eat just one? Royal Red Robin Burger with no mayo. Ugh, so freakin' good.

Current frustration: Snow, if I have to shovel my driveway again this year (we have a really long driveway) I'm going to.... well, curse a lot and claim loudly to hate winter but that's what I've been doing the entire time so I guess not much new to report on that end.

Current triumph: Uh... uh... I'm going to attempt to make crepes today so that might be a triumph (or a complete disaster... I'm not the best at making thin food).


Current sadness: Two things, last week was pretty tough, Arctic died. I absolutely adored that snow leopard, I was making plans to visit C.A.R.E and everything. I really wanted to see him in person. I was really upset, cried for days.

The second sadness is my job didn't work out, it was a very physical job with very strict time limits and I just was not fast enough. I tried my butt off and that's all you can do but I can't wake up be someone who can walk 3.5-4mph hour carrying a heavy satchel and packages so *shrugs*.

Will this really be my first current post of 2015? Not to mention my first current post in awhile. I'm slacking but it tis my way *does a little jig* although honestly, lately I haven't been feeling like much of a slacker since I seem to be on the go all the time lately. Walk, work, walk, clean, clean, lift, lift, work, errands, errands, chocolate, chocolate, kitties, barking dogs, naps, naps, driving, driving, singing songs to myself, etc. That is my life summed up pretty well.

Current mood: Can't sit still but also tired. I spent most of the morning and some of last evening cleaning. I can get a bit obsessive about it actually. I have to work tomorrow so I'm trying to enjoy my evening relaxing and Halo just climbed up on the desk so sounds like a plan.

Also a black floppy hat off ebay, I have my hair in one messy ass bun so I haven't tried it on yet. I also got some new bedding that I'll show off in another post I have planned.

Current site I'm addicted to: The usual suspects but also Zulily. It's insane how much time and money I've spent on here already. I love it, gimme everything.


Current crush: Natalie Dormer. Seriously, she is just luminous. 


Current tv show: The Fall second season. Face Off. Shameless. Review. My husband and I were quoting Review to one another for days straight. Such a funny show, you should watch it.

Current food: These little cakes from Trader Joes. I should stop.... *shoves another in mouth* Have you tried the mini pies? My god, I love them.

Current drink: Lavender tea.

Current bane of my existence: Snow. I HATE IT.

Current frustration: Winter. Snow. Slowness (me, I'm slow).

Current triumph: I walked almost 8 miles the other day at work. I was quite exhausted admittedly but I'm getting more and more miles in... think of me as an old car you bought off craigslist, actually don't... that's not a flattering comparison.

When was the last time I did a current post? Seems like forever.

Current guilty pleasure: Melting snow. I honestly hate snow, I don't even find it pretty at this point, just annoying. Luckily and well, unluckily, I was sick when it snowed last week so I couldn't really go anywhere anyway but I hate being stuck in the house and not able to play outside because massive heaps of white water ice fall from the clouds. I can't wait to get out and ride my bike.

Current nail color: Hot mess by Rachel Designs and of course I mean my nails are a hot mess because I'm lazy and I also don't really care about doing my nails. I did have this purple sparkly combination going on my fingers that I had some "unicorn" name for but it has chipped off.

Current Favorite TV Show: True Detective! I'm obsessed, totally and utterly obsessed. Even Halo watches it, seriously, he was sitting on the couch watching the entire episode. Apparently Halo is a crime drama fan, he likes to watch the ID network as well. My kitty and I have so much in common. Besides my cats TV viewing choices, can we talk about how awesome Matthew McConaughey is on True Detective? He is honestly blowing me away every single week.
