Looks like it is about that time and that can only mean one thing... I really need to shower and get my butt to the liquor store! One really should plan their alcohol ahead of time but since I'm the Queen of Procrastination (capitalized to recognize official title) I put it off. The best Holidays are spent tipsy, this is priceless advice, you'll thank me later.

I finally did do some Christmas shopping, I have the cramp in my calves to prove it, it's as if I was sprinting about the stores which trust me, I was not.

Oh crap, but I didn't pick up anything to wrap them in... CRIKEY.

I still feel like I should have bought and found more stuff but hopefully everyone will be relatively pleased with their gifts. I had quite a bit of fun in the toy stores/toy aisles looking for gifts, I'm quite certain I have more fun with it than 95% of children; kids today... don't know how great they have it. I will share pictures of my toy aisle adventures soon but since the interwebs is usually dead today and tomorrow I figure I will wait. My cats seem a bit excited for the holidays as well, they've been playing with a forgotten toy all afternoon.

I hope everyone has a lovely holiday full of joy, alcohol, baked goods, loved ones (human and furry kind alike), gifts given and received, and that everyone gets to and fro' safely. So no dangling off the banisters in a sombrero after too many glasses, or if you do, safely have someone below taking video and send to me asap.

From me and Gizmo, Happy Hoolidays!

disclaimer: I had to add this video because it cracks me up and I wish I had drunken relatives that did shit like this.

lol I did that same thing last year, braved the shops for all my presents (last minute as well argh) dragged it all home and then realised no wrapping paper! All my xmas gifts said 'Happy Birthday' on them ;)

Merry Christmas xxx

@Wait until the Sunset - At this point I still haven't picked up any wrapping lol so I'm just going to ask my mom to steal some of hers Christmas morning. Oops, oh well. I always wait to shop till the last minute, time goes so quick around the holidays. On the subject of wrapping paper, my boyfriend wraps almost all of my gifts in aluminum foil, I like it because I crinkle it and play with it after I open my presents. At least you have some wrapping paper around lol all I have is old tissue paper - I guess that will do for now.

Merrily Holidays to you too sweetie. I hope you have a fabulous Christmas in Paris.

You'll have to let me know what you think of the Bernard book! Personally, I totally disagree with most of what he says but I'd love to hear your thoughts once you read it.

@Arielle- My family barely drinks too, my mom is mad at our Aunt and Uncle at the moment and they are the ones who usually booze everyone up. I'm a big faker about the booze anyway lol, I bought two bottles of wine and only drank half of one and passed out on the couch. Two Christmases ago my Aunt and Uncle kept making me vodka cranberries and I spent the rest of the night completely plastered and telling stories in my "outside" voice. That sounds weird, "outside" voice, I just meant lol I was yelling everything.

Happy Holidays! Thanks for commenting and I received my giveaway I won, I LOVE everything, thank you so much.

@Courtney Erin- I will definitely let you know my thoughts on the book. I love reading about Anne Boleyn, she was a feisty lady although I don't believe I've read anything from this particular author before. I'm interested to hear your thoughts as well and Happy Holidays!

I have to plan every weekend around trips to the liquor store as they do not sell alcohol on Sundays here...pretty sure Jesus was cool with drinkings guys, he did turn water into wine. Hope you had a killer Christmas!

What are the holidays without liquor? I don't even want to know.

@Amber Blue Bird- No alcohol on Sundays? Total boo. I grew up in Maryland and now live in Virginia and the alcohol laws are a lot different state to state. I think it's a bit absurd, people are going to drink no matter what they do about it. Gosh I could write an entire blog just about alcohol, even more if I included my experience with it...

I totally agree, Jesus had no issue with a little Sunday boozing. I know - Jesus and I text sometimes, I always have to remind him to be appropriate :P

I had a great Christmas, one of the best in years and I hope you did as well.

@Adrienne- *Clink clink* Not to be mistaken with toasting with glasses, I toast with the whole bottle, people need to get their own bottle hehe! I hope you had a great Holiday as well! Aww, thank you so much about the love of my lil blog, you've made my day (my week actually hehe).

@TT- I had a very pleasant Christmas, it was full of my bad jokes but pretty much everyone laughed so I think I did well. I'm such a big faker because I didn't get tipsy, I did eat a ton of cookies though? I can't stop thinking about homemade cookies now, my handfuls on Christmas did not detour my craving. Haha Uncles are always funnier with a little hooch in the system. I hope you had a great Christmas as well. Gizmo and I wish you a Happy New Years.

@Nnenna- Hehe, I planned it and despite a delay did end up partaking in some drunken behavior on New Years Eve. I did have a great Christmas and New Years, thank you so much for the well wishes and I hope you had a great holiday season as well. Thanks so much for stopping by pretty lady!
