First off, I want to thank Courtney, Laura, Allison, and Olivia for the extremely kind words, understanding, and support in my last post, I was truly touched by your comments! I am happy to report that I am feeling a lot better since my last post although I'm not quite sure why I thought there were fireworks on Memorial Day... I think I confused my holidays but fireworks make every holiday better, am I right? Sunday was a truly fantastic day, my boyfriend and I went for steak and joked around about growing goats, wearing Dorito bags as pants, and the secretive Operation: Mufasa. Yes, I know these are all inside jokes so it seems pointless to mention them to an uninformed party but I will forget them if I don't mention them dammit. After chowing on steak we went to Battlefield Park where we had to strategically walk around mud pits, bewildered at the heaps of horse poo along the trail, and picked honeysuckle off branches - I also tucked some behind my ear and then abandoned them after a few run ins with some bees. I took pictures along the way but my phone decided to flake out - does anyone else have an issues with their cell phone camera? Mine is constantly freezing, not saving pictures, won't load, etc...

I also learned some momentous news while on our walk... my fiance doesn't like Pee-Wee Herman, I literally turned around in the opposite direction and started walking away, how can one not like Pee-Wee, how?!

On Monday my boyfriend and I went comic book shopping and stopped for some yogurt at a newly discovered (and now favorite) place. We also went back to the park where we discovered the ticks were out in full force, see this is why I avoid going outside. I unfortunately discovered a tick this morning feasting on the side of my rib cage and have been skeeved out ever since, I don't know where that little bugger came from because I washed everything while in full panic mode. On Tuesday we went to the public library where I checked out more books than I should have, per usual, and had some more yogurt.

This 'Witches: The Absolutely True Tale of Disaster in Salem' book has the coolest illustrations, I definitely recommend a read.

This is the best combination - vanilla fro-yo with maraschino cherries, oreo cookie bits, and yogurt chips from Josies Yogurt! It is to die for, why didn't I go for yogurt today? I also got these two cardigans from Torrid on clearance for 50% off, I can't wait to wear them.

I have a lot of updating to do including some loot posts so I should  be posting soon. I hope everyone is having a great week.

You and your bf always seem to have awesome inside jokes haha.
That tick story scared me too! One time I thought I went death so my mom brought me to the Doctor. Turns out, a beetle was stuck up in my ear(and still alive!) I was in Virginia visiting my great grandma and they had been flying everywhere. I never saw her again.

True story. lol

Thank you and thank you again for being so lovely in my last post. Did you happen to email me by chance? I had an unknown email address send me a message but the name was not familiar?

Haha, thanks, my boyfriend and I say so many off the wall things to one another that I really should start writing them down, I forget a lot of them. I hate ticks, part of what is so scary about it is that I don't know where it came from! I had to wash everything twice because of that stupid thing. Holy crap about the beetle, that is all sorts of scary, I would be so frightened that I'd be wearing a pair of ear warmers for a long time to come. Virginia and its bugs, I seriously blame VA for a lot of things and ear/rib feasting bugs is now on the list.

I agree, comic books/books and yogurt are a happy day in the making. I had more yogurt today, I adore the yogurt at that place, I don't know why more yogurt places don't have cherries. I finished the Witches book about a day ago and I liked it, it was very straight forward and I wish it had been a little longer but it was a good read and the illustrations are super cool. Thank you about the cardigans, I had my eye on them for awhile and when the clearance sale came up I just had to get them. I finally wore the skeleton one today!

I am so glad you are feeling better :] It also sounds like you have been up to fun things minus the tick situation - yuck! I got one a few weeks back and I was creeped out for an entire week. They are the worst. My cell phone also takes photos and then doesn't save them, or save them properly. It is a major pain. That witches book looks fantastic. Aaaaand I love me some Pee-Wee.

@ShyScout - While updating my blog I somehow disabled the reply feature so back to the old fashioned way for now... Thank you, I'm glad I'm in better spirits too and the positive comments from you and others really helped. I hate ticks, such vile little things. My cell phone has a pretty decent camera but I'm always having issues with it, grrr, what phone do you have? It is a really cute book, short but informative. Pee-Wee!!

@TT - Grr at this disabled reply thing, I will have to get my boyfriend to fix it since I'm clueless when it comes to these sort of things. Haha yes, Dorito bags as pants, it sounds quite... cheesy doesn't it? That's okay, I forgive exceptional people for not loving Pee-Wee, I admit it has been some years since I've watched his TV show or movie.

I am so happy to hear you are feeling better!! Xxxx

I've never truly had frozen yogurt. I mean I have, but not the really good type you can get over here in the USA. We have crap packet kind. Ben and I always do that back and forth 'the frogurt is also cursed...' from the Simpsons. And then we LOL! ;) xxx

@wait until the sunset

Loads better, thanks sweetie!

Packet kind? I had no idea you could get Yogurt in a packet. Haha, "the frogurt is cursed" that is too funny, I don't watch enough Simpsons. While you're on your fabulous vacation, lucky fab vacation taker, you should get some cursed froyo.
