Instead of going into a long wordy post about what I've been up to, I think I could just narrow it down to a handful of current obsessions, this is not to say that I won't go into a lengthy post sooner or later because I mean come on, I can't change that much.

My boyfriend and I saw Prometheus last weekend and we both really enjoyed it, even though someone in the theater let their phone ring till it went to voicemail, TWICE. A few people told me that the movie in fact sucked BUT... I kicked them in the shins and ran away so in more mature words "NOT UH". I recently rediscovered - there is no way I did not notice this before hand - the fact that at one of the local theaters near here that they have frozen yogurt so I was eating yogurt and watching a movie on the big screen at the same time, it was mostly heaven, except for the fact that I don't think I got through the trailers before the yogurt was all gone.... We also saw 'Dark Shadows' and although I liked it, I kinda felt like it started to drop off mid-way through the movie but I loved Eva Green as a creepy, bad ass witch in full on bat shit obsession mode with Johnny Depp (this is not hard to imagine...).

If and when I find these, especially Operetta and Ghoulia, I'm about 99% there will be jumping up and down, fake crying, and lots of squealing. I've even gotten into the cartoon, so yeah, this addiction is getting more and more serious by the minute. I've been searching the country side for them and haven't seen them anywhere :(

Yes, I'm still on my 'Roseanne' kick, especially the Halloween episodes - I wish I had a family that was as into Halloween as their "family" was. Come on now, how cute is this picture? I adore John Goodman and the expression on his face here is priceless.

Many people have tried to spread the 'Shannon and the Clams' love but only very recently have I decided to start scribbling Mrs. Shannon and the Clams in my notebook over and over again.

Last but certainly not least I've been in full 'The Sims 3' mania for days, my life is now currently been overtaken by the Simlish speaking natives. I just got 'The Sims 3: Showtime' as a gift and all I can say is look out time, I'm going to waste the shit out of you (so yeah it is an understatement to say that it has gotten worse). If you play The Sims 3, add me on The Sims 3 website, illivonray. There I go with the wordy post anyway...

I really want to see Prometheus, I tend not to care about what other people say about a film until I've seen it myself. Plus, Michael Fassbender as a hot blonde, hello! I've actually never had frozen yogurt, you don't really get it in Ireland unless you go up to Dublin, but it seems to be everywhere in New Zealand! I passed by a stand yesterday in the nearest mall and it looked uh-mazing! I've made a mental note to get some the next time... Instagram is my current obsession, I didn't really need another social media site to become addicted to but hey, it's done now! ♥

I have been playing so much Sims. Like hours and hours. I usually buy every expansion pack but I haven't read much about this newest one. I bet it gives you some rad hairstyles.

Definitely saw Prometheus in 3d and it was awesome! Also definitely did not anticipate the ending...I probably am the only one who didn't know what the movie was about before seeing it, whoops. Anywho... those dolls are awesome! Don't tempt me with a new collection, haha. I also really want to play the Sims now.

@Aoife

My boyfriend is always remarking how Michael Fassbender looks extremely different any time he sees him in a role or in a picture or something. I liked Prometheus but I could see the problems that other people had with it, even so I enjoyed myself. Frozen yogurt is nummy but ice cream is purty dandy too, I use to be such an ice cream addict but ice cream makes me gain weight like crazy. Instagram is addictive, I've found myself waking up just to check it.

I wish Showtime did have better hairstyles, I was pretty disappointed by them :( What is with EA and their craptastic hairstyles? I always end up downloading hairstyles to compensate (and then having problems because of the custom content). I have been pretty much eating, sleeping, and simming so it's been pretty bad haha. The game has been crashing a lot the last few days and I've been trying to work out whhhhhhhhhyyy, I'm pretty sure its because I download too much content for it. I think World Adventures is still my favorite, how can one beat having your Sims travel to Egypt, China, and France!

@Laura Go

Me tooo, I really hope to see it again in the theater. Michael Fassbender is a really great actor, my one friend with the negative reviews for the movie was saying it was annoying how "advanced" David was but I thought it was really interesting. I haven't seen the Paper Prometheus trailer, I'll have to watch it.

I adore Ghoulia's cat eye glasses, I want a pair for myself haha. Once I started buying them I've barely been able to stop so go in with caution if you do pick one up haha.

@Thick Threads

Visually it was a very striking movie and I do see what you are saying about the unanswered questions, that was my friends problem with it as well, I think they have plans to do a sequel so maybe some of them will be answered then?

Aren't they so cute?! I usually check out the toy aisles to see if they have anything new and I kept seeing these Monster High dolls and kept being like "oooh, I want one" but kept deciding against it but for my birthday I decided to go for it and I've been hooked ever since. They have some cartoon episodes online as well, they are sometimes a bit corny but they are actually kind of funny at times.

I haven't seen 'Roseanne's Nuts', I'll have to watch it.

@ShyScout

I had been really hoping that it would be available in D-Box but it wasn't, I think it would have been perfect for the effects chair. I think the Monster High dolls have a lot of collectors because the newest dolls sell out extremely fast, I don't get up early for anything and I've contemplated going to Toys R Us on stocking days right at opening - it will probably end up happening, the batches being released this Summer are adorablllllle. I already have 8 of the dolls and a whole list of the others I want so my collection is growing rapidly. I'm so glad to see other Sims players about, I use to always get made fun of for playing it but it's an entertaining game!

Ooohhhh I really want to see Prometheus!! I liked Dark Shadows- but as you said, it seemed to drop of in the middle.

I seriously love John Goodman. Have you see Blues Brothers 2000?? He rocks in it! Xx

@wait until the sunset

It's a good movie to catch on the big screen, I really should see it again, plus I think a break from The Sims 3 would probably do me some good haha. I think that's a common problem in movies/tv shows/books, somewhere along the line of a story it gets lost or loses momentum at some point or another. I'll still probably buy Dark Shadows on DVD, I'd kill for the mansion in that movie. I looove John Goodman, I think I'd marry John Goodman, I believe I've seen Blues Brothers 2000 but it has been a supa-long-time.
