I keep promising myself that I'll post more often buttt clearly that hasn't been happening, to be fair though things have been mighty, mighty (mouse? Quick, someone photoshop a picture of mighty mouse with a bottle of booze with a caption that reads "screw this...") stressful the last few weeks.

I got into a pretty heated argument with my quasi-roommate/landlord/ex-friend of my boyfriends last week after I finally had reached my boiling point (way, way past it actually). Everyone in the house with exception of me (I always went through my boyfriend) has tried addressing house issues with him but it was always like trying to crack ice with a pixie stick so things have not surprisingly showed no improvement . After the argument I packed some stuff and cried for a good two hours so I felt better and horrible at the same magical time, living/staying with someone you don't like or get along with is not easy. My other roommate lent me her mini fridge so at this point him and I don't have to interact at all. It almost feels pointless to even argue with him since my boyfriend and I are definitely moving within the next few months but I'm also not one to shy away from addressing my issues with someone face to face, I hadn't till now because he is not a very approachable person and whenever I have talked to him he has always either insulted me or gave me the stink eye the entire time. So yes, to cut a long story short and plus I feel a little inappropriate sharing this info, I am definitely ready ("Well, the turkeys done"... So is the kitchen) to move. This cheered me up a bit, watchie here.

The worst of it is though that we found out that my boyfriend's dad is going in for spine surgery within the next few weeks, his Dad is in a lot of pain caused by bulging discs and there is no guarantee that the surgery will make much of a difference. We're trying to be as optimistic as we can be but the next few weeks are going to be very rough. I'm hoping for the best.

Meowshed Potato Time

We've both been trying to keep our mind off the stressful crap with various things... I've been debating whether to learn the dance moves to the mashed potato but I'm afraid I don't own enough sports bras to get the job done and I've also been meowing (kinda like humming... it's not annoying or anything...) along to the song in the bathroom. We also went to a house party and had cake, out to dinner with friends a few times, been watching Ninja Warrior over pizza, cuddled with our sweet babies, and walked out of Walmart with one thing (this is a rare thing) after been asked personal questions by creepy suit wearing guys at 2AM in Walmart who I affectionately named "Tentacle People" because I'm convinced they were aliens. That's what I get for spending so much time on quests for Monster High dolls - I've gotten two new dolls btw! My boyfriend celebrated his birthday a little over a week ago, he isn't big on birthdays but he seemed like he had a pretty good day all things considered. I love that man to pieces, he is the sweetest and there isn't anyone else I'd rather watch Ninja Warrior in my pajamas with <3

I'm sorry if this post is long and scatter brained but even with nothing going on I'm a pretty scatter brained gal. Oh and um, if you're a Sims fan check this out, I'm really excited for it! I'll have to do a haul post here soon.

oh Rachel! hugs hugs and more hugs to you. I'm sorry to hear about the iffy roommate and your bf's dad. And I hope that everything goes smoothly. Keeping busy and keeping your mind focused on other things is definitely a great way to beat the stress, so keep on. :) Also, blogging is a great way to ease your mind!

Eeeep! I hope things are better for you. I am so sorry about the crazy room mate. It will all be over soon enough. I am sending you and your boyfriends family good vibes for his dads safe surgery and speedy recovery :]

How many Monster High dolls do you have now?? Tehehe. I think that is so neat you are still collecting them.

@Laura Go

Thank you, the roommate situation has gotten a little better since everyone has cooled off, he came downstairs and spoke to me about it last night and I feel better for having a cool off talk. My boyfriend and I have been trying to keep busy, laugh, and hope for the best and it seems to be working pretty well. Thank you so much for your kind words and well wishes!

Thank you, things have improved a little bit, both my boyfriend and I are trying to keep a positive attitude and that seems to be working well. I only have about a month to move and I'll be happy for a new situation. Thank you so much for the positive vibes <3

I think I have about 18 Monster High Dolls now and the stores are just putting out a lot of the Fall inventory so I'm sure the collection will be growing. I keep meaning to take pictures of my new dolls, I'll have to get around to that sometime this week.

I've been trying to post more too but I think it's just a summer curse. Once Fall arrives, I'll get more motivated Im sure. That sucks about all your housing crap. That dude sounds annoying. Hope your bf's dads surgery goes well.
I know, Sims Seasons!!!!
I can't wait x76.

I agree, I feel very unmotivated in the Summer. I hope I get a fair dose of motivation in the Fall, this Fall is going to be nuts for me! My roommate can be pretty annoying, we had a cool off conversation and I feel a lot better about the situation now. I hope the surgery goes well too. Sims Seasons, eeeek! I can'ttttt x76 too, add a tip of 17%. Thanks for the well wishes, you're the best.
