I meant to make this post two days ago but in the rush to get packed and run errands before my day trip I didn't have the time to do so. I spent my entire Monday (yesterday) in New York City with my roommate Dawn and her absolutely adorable step-sister Amanda. It was a super long day and I'm really beat.

Full post and pictures coming soon. I'm still trying to spend today resting, relaxing, and doing laundry so I'll be back soon with more tales of the NYC.

I wanted to share these vintage pictures/drawings/postcards of New York I found from Christian Montone's Flickr. They are too amazing not to share.

These are great! You must live pretty close to NYC - I'm about an hour and a half away and I never make it in as often as I want.

Thank you, they are great, I love vintage photographs.

No, I'm not very close to NYC, further than you actually. I live in Northern Virginia, we took a greyhound out of D.C. and spent 10 hours on a bus to and from - it was exhausting but I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to go again. I've been a total of 4 times now I think, try to see something new every time I go.

Ugh, I'm so jealous you live close enough to go to NY. I still can't believe I haven't been. You lucky, dog.

@Arielle, Aww well I hope you get to go sometime. New York is a pretty amazing city. I'm jealous you live so close to New Orleans. I've never been to that area, just Florida and Texas.

It is amazing to see how much Times Square has changed in that time. I love the wet road picture too, I think that one is the most recent. Thanks for the comment :)
