Hey everyone, I'm having a pretty dandy week. Today is my birthday and although I see age as nothing but a number, I admit that I am a bit fragile about getting another year older. Hopefully the curse of the 27 is reserved for people with musical talent so through the process of elimination I will be okay. I've already had a few Birthday surprises, including seeing the 'Rammstein' show in Baltimore! It was a fabulous time, they put on one amazing show with lots of pyro and props! I re-dyed my hair and it is quite a vibrant red (pictures coming once I can take a decent one), needless to say, I got lots of looks at the Rammstein show. I always wonder when people are staring is it good or bad what they are thinking/saying? I guess it's better to be acknowledged than ignored? I don't know... Anywho, Jason also surprised me with a get together at our friend Laurie and Jason's, there were several bottles of my favorite wine, and our friends, Troy and Lisa joined as well. Together we watched some hysterical bad lip reading videos ("tuna face"), played apples to apples (I won the round with the word "mischievous", shocking :), and I somehow managed to leave the party standing. I've already received some gifts too, including my beloved Monster High dolls, and a fabulous print I had been staring at for months. I know, I'm 27 and receiving dolls for my birthday, but they are such cute dolls and I've been wanting one for awhile - I've also been wanting the child sized tutus but I'm quite certain they won't fit over my hind quarters.

I forgot to mention this in my previous entry but I saw Cabin in the Woods a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it, if you haven't seen it, I definitely suggest it. I'm hoping to see it again in the theater. Apparently I have more birthday surprises to come and I also received part of my tax refund yesterday so I'm feeling a wee bit excited (jumping up and down, twirling, and yelling "yays" sort of excited). I hope everyone is well and having a great weekend.

Happy birthday my dear! Getting to see Rammstein, lucky girl! I am sure people were marvelling at your bright hair, and wishing they could do the same! I am dying to get my hands on a couple of MH dolls, but I feel so ashamed for wanting dolls! I don't know why, I'd say over half of the people that buy them are over 20! I should just go ahead and do it shouldn't I?! ♥

Thank you! Rammstein was amazing live, I had such a fabulous timee. I hope so, I tend to marvel at bright hair myself. I love the Monster High dolls, I'm glad I'm not alone in my draw towards the MH dolls. I felt ashamed too but we shouldn't, they are great dolls. I definitely think you should go ahead and do buy some.

Happy birthday! i have never heard of the curse of the 27s, but I have next to no musical talent so that never probably applied to me in the first place anywho :) I totes advocate the giving of dolls during birthdays. In my case, action figures, which are sort of like dolls, but with capes :)

Thank you! I guess it's actually called the '27 Club' and it includes people like Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix - they all died when they were 27 years old. Me neither, I can barely bang on bongos with proper rhythm. I like action figures too!

Thank you! I love red hair too, its so eye catching, if only it was easier to maintain. I bet your hair looked stunning for your wedding.

Thank you! Haha I know, I'm feeling quite spoiled, I had two more sets of plans I have to post about as well. Rammstein was amazing, I was so glad we got to go. I adore the Monster High dolls, they are so cute and designed so clever.

I saw Rammstein live last year, they rocked my world. We were in the very front of the mosh pit and got sprayed with foam from a giant cock Till was riding! Lol, good times ;) xxx

Happy Belated Birthday lady! It sounds like you had yourself a wonderful time with the show, awesome new hair, party, dolls and print! I hope what ever other surprises that were in store were equally wonderful. I want to see the red hair!! I love gingers, tehehe. Also - I don't think asking for dolls is weird at all. Those dolls are super cute :]

First of all: Happy Birthday!! :) Oh you saw Rammstein, I love them too, well, mostly their older songs. :) I haven't had the chance to see them on stage yet, their concerts are always so expensive and sold out in like 2 minutes. I will be turning 27 in about six months from now... how the years fly! :)

Thank you, I did.

Haha, why can't I live closer to you? You sound like such fun. Til was riding around on the giant foam shooting dicka at the show we went to but we were nowhere near it :( I was bummed, I wanted to be covered in foam and glitter.

Thank you! I did have a pretty excellent birthday, my boyfriend spoils me so much. The other surprises were also a lot of fun. I will take pictures of the hair soon, I love gingers too. I got two more Monster High dolls since this post, I'm hooked on them.

Thank you! I agree with you, older Rammstein music cannot be beat but I do like the more current stuff too. If you get the chance I definitely suggest seeing them, my boyfriend and I had such a good time. I know exactly what you mean, I feel like I was 21 yesterday.

Happy super belated birthday! I'm so behind on catching up on blogs! That's awesome that you got to see Rammstein. I haven't listened to them in years but I bet the show was pretty awesome.

I get a lot of stares for the red hair too, but believe it or not, even the people you would assume are staring for the wrong reason (conservative OLD women for example) always tell me they like it. Another friend has the same thing happen to her. I don't know what it is about that color but it makes EVERYONE feel like they should walk right up to you and tell you how much they like it haha.

Aww, it's not super belated, thank you! The show was really awesome, I definitely recommend seeing them live one day.

I've gotten so much attention since I've been a redhead, I don't know what it is (besides the fact that it is beautiful) but people seem very drawn to red hair. When my hair is a vibrant red people compliment me all the time, it's fun being a redhead huh?
