Hey everyone, I had planned and still do plan on sharing how my holidays went but I've caught a cold and am going to put myself in personal quarantine till it passes so I'm going to attempt to cut this short while I wait for my boyfriend to get here with soup! Sample convo: "You! Bring me soup!" Oh, romance.

I hope everyone had a splendid Christmas and New Years, as usual I plan on sharing too much about my holidays, I take the motto "sharing is caring" a little too seriously. That might not be the best thing to put out there when you're currently infected with a flu virus...

In the mean time I started watching 'Mad Men' about two weeks ago and have been completely hooked ever since then! If anyone here follows me on Twitter or Tumblr, you might already have a hint at my current obsession. My crush on Jon Hamm is a bit ridiculous and I have literally had a 'Mad Men' style dream every night since I started on the show. I finished all four seasons on netflix instant viewing and am absolutely dying to see what happens in the fifth season, March will not come soon enough. Please tell me someone out there is also watching/watched 'Mad Men' because I have been talking about it non-stop with my boyfriend who isn't as caught up on the series as I am and I'm pretty sure I'm driving him nuts. I really want to start using "Hells Bells Trudy!" as a curse word but I'm pretty sure no one will get the addition of Trudy to that statement but I love when Pete Campbell "curses".

Well before I start breaking down what characters are my favorite, my favorite moments, how many things I'd like to do to Don Draper (c'mon, you know you want to as well), and how many outfits I want to steal from Betty and Joan... I have to say this... my soup has arrived! So I must go but please, fellow Mad Men watchers, discuss in the comments below and watch some chicken throwing on youtube Here.

I've only watched a few episodes. I think I got distracted by another one of Netflix's awesome shows. I can def relate to the "Bring me soup!" situation. I'm very whiny when I get sick(atleast I admit it right?) so I feel bad for my bf. I want soup, Frostys from Wendys, Powerade, ect. He turns into my servant. Maybe I should go be nice to him, Bye! :p

I'm gonna use Hells Bells in a sentence today and see if anyone catches on. FYI I LOVE mad men!! How far have you gotten (sorry if you already said that in your post but I'm just so excited to talk mad men with someone). Tell me if this rings a bell: lawnmower, mutilated foot, good times. Fave episode ever.

@Courtney - I guess the 5th season was delayed because of negotiations or something? That is what I read at least, bah at that. At least the premiere date is only a few months away now but I'm still sick of waiting. I really want to know what has happened and I really want to stare at Jon Hamm some more.

Thanks for the well wishes, you know the sad thing is I've actually been ill less over the last year or two than I've ever been. I guess I'm a sickly person :\ but I'm feeling better already and thank you so much for commenting!

@Arielle- Before two(maybe three at this point) weeks ago I had seen about an episode or two but couldn't get into it because I had no idea who was who or what was what, it is definitely a show with a lot of back story. The options on Netflix feel endless don't they? Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by my 300+ queue but most of the time I'm just thinking, this is f'in awesome.. look at all my options!

Hehe I do the same thing with my boyfriend. I sent him out at 12:30AM last night for grapefruit juice, donuts, and cheese. He brought no cheese, he is still locked in the shed (we don't have a shed, he is trespassing and being punished at the same time). Aww, yes, go be nice to the boyfriend - yay for having sweet boyfriends.

@Laura Go- I knowww, forever and ever, late March still feels like years away. I wonder if they wrote in January Jones pregnancy? Betty is a fertile one. I'm so glad I have fellow 'Mad Men' watchers to talk about the show with! I've made a slew of facebook posts about the show and no one ever replies, makes me sad panda!

@Amber- I've yelled "Hells Bells" at my boyfriend about 10 times over the last few days, every time he pretends not to hear me...

I've watched all the seasons, I'm thinking of doing round 2 with my favorite episodes, just in case I missed something. I'm so excited to talk about the show too, why don't more people watch the show? It is the awesome. Haha, yes I love the lawnmower incident. Why anyone gave that woman keys is beyond me but it was definitely funny. I loved what Roger said when they were cleaning the blood off the windows of the offices, he makes me giggle. I really want a job at a place like Sterling Cooper, they have some awesome parties. My 21st birthday was more tame than their office parties.

I started watching and finished Mad Men during the summer. I like it, but I just can't with John Hamm's character. He really upsets me. I do love him on 30 Rock, though.

@TT- Yes, I am a Mad Men lovah. I just recently started watching it and got instantly hooked. I got my boyfriend kind of hooked on it as well but he hasn't seen all the seasons yet, I've talked his ear off about the show though. The show does look amazing and I love the way everyone dresses. You should definitely watch it, it is an amazing show!

@Yara- I struggle with Jon Hamm's character as well, Don Draper is very selfish and makes decisions I just don't understand. He reminds me of guys I've known throughout my life. My struggle is I know I shouldn't like Don Draper but I seem to pull for him and Jon Hamm is very attractive so that clouds my judgement as well. Damn those chiseled looks. I haven't watched 30 Rock but I plan on it. Thanks for stopping by!

I don't have cable so I haven't seen more than a piece of an episode at a friends but I have heard it is amazing. From the photos/stills I have seen the clothing is amazing!!! If I ever have the chance to start watching it I will have to give it a go.

@Jo- It is a great show, you really should watch it. I have heard people say that the show feels "slow" to them but I think if you watch the show in succession it feels pretty well paced. I hope you become a fellow Mad Men lover and thank you so much for stopping by and commenting. I love getting comments.

@ShyScout- I was trying to search online to see if you could watch it anywhere but free but I don't think you can. You may be able to download the episodes if you are really interested. I watch 90% of my tv shows on netflix. It is an amazing show and I hope you get to watch it. The clothing is phenomenal, the people really knew how to dress back then. Thank you so much for commenting!
