I have returned from New York City, we got back around 3:30PM yesterday actually but only now am I starting to feel back to normal. I always feel this sense of melancholy when I get back from vacation because I'm thinking of all the things that went wrong, all the things I missed, how much fun I had, how much I didn't want it to end, if and when I will get to go back and see all the things I missed, etc. Also my legs and feet are beat from all that walking, phew. It is nice to be home with my beloved kitties and fiance, I missed them (even though I was only gone 2 days). New York City really is an amazing city. The trip was a mixed bag of good and bad but overall I had a good time. I'll go into more detail later but I wanted to post some pictures.

On another note, today is my little sister Becky's birthday, she is 15! She is the one in the white cardigan.

One of my best friends who I mentioned in a previous post is having a hard time right now and is in the process of getting separated, if anyone could help her out, or just have well wishes for her it would be greatly appreciated. They are awesome people and starting over can be very hard and they've all been through a lot. I have a link HERE if you want to help.

Thank you, I hope things will improve for her, I mean honestly this separation/divorce is a good step but it will be rough for awhile for them. I will tell them you send your well wishes and thank you again for having them :)

Thank you, New York City is an amazing place, although we were lost A LOT. I have no sense of direction! Hope one day you'll get to take a bite out of the Big Apple yourself. I've never been overseas and am extremely anxious to hopefully make that happen one day.

Oh lucky you!! I love New York, I have been there twice but I'm dying to go back (but alas, I don't have the money!).

I love New York too, like you I've only been a couple of times, this was my third time but my second time I only went for a few hours on the way back from New England area. New York is such an expensive place, maybe look into a day trip where you take a bus trip? I'm not sure if you live on the east coast but the bus trips don't take long and are rather cheap.
